More Christmas Songs That You Probably Aren't Sick of Yet

'Tis the season for using my Frank eating cats icon, folks! Just like last year, I've got a bunch of cool Christmas songs for you to download and enjoy. I've been listening to these and last year's picks (still available) non-stop while decorating my house, they're kind of all pretty fabulous. So download a few individual songs, download the whole zip, whatever you want. We've got your originals, your standards, your covers, your hymns. These were a bitch to upload for some reason, so let me know if any of them are messed up, particularly the zip file. Please right-click and save-as or else you'll destroy my bandwidth. Enjoy! Build Your House, Call Me Home

I don't know, folks, this kind of turned out to mostly be a Sisky-as-a-girl mix. Weird. I'm kind of on an Explorers Club kick - Freedom Wind is an awesome, beachy album - Voxtrot is always an excellent choice, as is Tilly & the Wall. Um, nothing heavy here. It's kind of fun to sing along to? Please comment if you download - enjoy!

“Siska,” Greta says, snapping him back into the present, into the stiff cloth of his jacket, the rocking of the carriage beneath his sturdy-booted feet. She reaches forward and pushes a stray curl behind his ear and he blinks back moisture at the corners of his eyes.

He doesn’t want to be a boy.

“I’ll love you no matter what, Siska,” Greta says.

Siska drops his gaze to his lap, avoiding the sheen of sadness in her eyes. He doesn’t want to be a boy, but he’s well aware now that he has to be one. “Adam.” He clears his throat, but he still can’t bring himself to look up. “Call me Adam.”

Hey, That's Not In English mix

I'm terrible with languages. I suck at languages. I took four years of high school Spanish (granted, the text books were from the seventies, but I got awfully familiar with Lupe and Paco) and I aced four semesters of college conversational Italian - and I can basically order a beer. Maybe. That's actually pushing it. But ANYWAY, here's some songs that I have absolutely no idea what they're saying, but they're catchy and I like to sing along with them anyway. Comment if you download - enjoy!

I'm a ringtone making fool, mainly because a) I don't like paying the enormous fee for ringtones and b) I couldn't figure out how to actually buy ringtones, anyway, since there isn't an app for it on my blackberry. So! If you have a USB hookup with your phone, you can plug these babies in! they're all around 20 seconds or so, I'm going to go ahead and say if you want to play them on my website it's not going to completely kill me - of course, watch my site go down now. Anywho, I picked my favorite bits of songs, it was lots of fun :) Let me know if I messed up any of the links. Please comment if you download; enjoy!

The Perfect Man

New soundtrack! Finally! Okay, so, not much to say about this one except the first song? I've had on repeat in my car, because it's seriously hardcore awesome and totally fun. Um, other than that, I had to fit in a Slow Club, of course, and I recently downloaded everything I could from The Second Band, because I'm totally in love with them, and you've got a Films and a Lovedrug, both crazy awesome bands, and some random shit and just - I went for some high powered songs (mixed with some hand-clapping and harmonies because it's me), because Joe and Bob are both dudes right? Anyway, please comment if you download - enjoy!

Joe splutters as the water hits his face. “Motherfucker,” he says with a surprised laugh. He lunges for the hose again, but Bob’s quicker than he looks, and Joe’s completely drenched before he gives up, sagging against the garage door. “Yield, I fucking yield, dude,” he says, panting.

“Good,” Bob says, and then—

Then, somehow, Bob’s mouth ends up on top of Joe’s. Joe is, like, stunned, fucking flabbergasted, even, and also—also, he seems to be kissing Bob back. And gripping Bob’s shirt at his collarbones and hitching a leg up against Bob’s side and, like, licking into Bob’s mouth and really. Really.

All In The Way That You Trip

As promised, and as fits a harlequin intrigue throw-back, this soundtrack is entirely made up of songs from 80s movies! This took much research, because I'm dedicated to the craft of fine soundtrack making. It's really kind of exciting. And extra long, because I had trouble picking and choosing, and even then I probably could have left on a hell of a lot more :) Please comment if you download - enjoy!

Spencer staggers sideways. “Motherfucker,” he shouts, and Brendon spares a wide-eyed holy crap, I did that moment before making a wild break for it.

He tries to dive past Spencer, but Spencer recovers quickly and catches him around his middle, still off-balance enough that they both crash into Sweet Beulah’s front bumper.

“Holy fuck,” Spencer says harshly. “You hit me with a fucking shovel.”
